Okay, I still need a little bit of help actually, I meant to say original yellow jack (I think?), and also, aren’t there any adapters I can use to combine the component video jacks into one input jack?

I’m rather new to the red, blue, and green composite jacks, and seeing as how they work, I can’t seem to use any ONE of them for video, and the regular red jack won’t give any video. I tried all three composite jacks individually:
Blue: nothing
Green: Bad, wavy, black & white double image of the video
Red: thin bar moving down and coming back from the top repeatedly
Any advice?

I got this just last weekend and I just now had time to set up the hardware- However, I can’t get it to work with my Xbox 360! I’ve seen lots of other people have this same sort of question, and all seem to be happy with an answer I don’t see them getting. I’ve tried connecting my xbox to my pinnacle directly, through my old VCR, and through a DVD player. I actually just got it to start recording sound, but video is a no show.

Was the picture and quality normal? And if I was playing my Xbox 360 and split the cable would I be able to record with this?

Hmmm… I’ve never used a firewire mixer, but if it’s a standard Firewire device it should work just fine.

Hey I bought the pinnacle ultimate 12 it didn’t come with the little gaget thing. It only came with the green screen and the software. Was it supposed to come with the other thing? And I have tried to use it and I am lost to be honest. I really need some tutorials.
